Dr Tracy Leong, Respiratory and Sleep Physician

Dr Tracy Leong is a graduate of the University of Adelaide. She trained as a Respiratory and Sleep Physician at the Western Hospital and Monash Health in Melbourne. She obtained her Master of Public Health at the University of Melbourne, majoring in Biostatistics and Epidemiology. She obtained her PhD at the University of Melbourne with a thesis entitled “Pre-clinical applications of endobronchial ultrasound in lung cancer”.

She works at the Austin Hospital as a Respiratory and Sleep Physician with a lead role in the interventional pulmonology and lung cancer services.

Tracy is actively involved in research, with key interests in interventional pulmonology and lung cancer. She currently holds the David Bickart Clinician Researcher Fellowship at the University of Melbourne to undertake post-doctoral translational lung cancer research.

She is the Director of Interventional Pulmonology and Respiratory Lung Cancer Lead at Austin Health. She is a senior lung cancer researcher at the Olivia Newton-John Cancer Research Institute. She has national and international leadership roles in lung cancer and interventional pulmonology fields
